Disney Magic Disney Wonder |
Disney
Cruise Line. Since its inception in 1998, Disney Cruise Line has delighted
families at sea in the same way as the Disney theme parks have done on land. The
Magic and Wonder are large new ships designed to Disney's
specifications, providing 3-, 4- and now 7-night Caribbean cruises. The 3- and
4-night cruises frequently are combined with 3- and 4-night Walt Disney World
stays to create a 7-night vacation package. Highlights. Larger-than-average staterooms, a new dining room experience each night, a variety of musical stage shows, plenty of kids activities, and adults-only areas (e.g., pool and whirlpool). You'll find thoughtful features for families throughout, such as a split bathroom in most cabins. Disney makes the transition between the cruise and Walt Disney World portions of the vacation seamless and painless (e.g., your cabin key also opens your Disney hotel room door). Plenty of activities targeted at kids. Who Loves Disney? If you like Disney on land, you've love Disney at sea! Not as many activities for singles and couples as other cruise lines. Locations. Caribbean. Competition. Compare to Carnival, Royal Caribbean and Norwegian. Pricing. Brochure pricing starts at about $135 per day per person, including port charges, but excluding airfare.
